WTOC News, THE Southeast News Leader, is looking for a forward-thinking journalist to lead the day-to-day operations of our newsroom. This person will be responsible for directing daily news coverage, especially breaking news, both on-air and online. They will work closely with producers, anchors, and MMJs to develop strong storytelling skills and unique showcasing in every newscast.
The assistant news director will work hand-in-hand with the assignment manager to coordinate staffing and schedules.
