Quel are currently looking for a Senior Business Developer for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in Stockholm. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly strategic organization where you will play a key role in driving business transformation, supporting executive decision-making, and strengthening collaboration across business functions. About the Role

In this role, you will be part of a newly established Business Development and Strategy function within an advanced R&D organization. You will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives, improve financial governance, and support the organization's long-term transformation.

The role combines strategic business development, financial planning, and organizational development. You will contribute to functional strategies, support executive decision-making, drive finance initiatives, and strengthen collaboration between R&D, Finance, and Business functions while leveraging data and AI to improve business performance.

Your main responsibilities will include: Drive strategic business development and financial governance initiatives Contribute to the development of functional strategies Support strategic decision-making across the organization Strengthen collaboration between R&D, Finance, and Business functions Manage financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting Lead strategic finance initiatives Support the Strategy PMO in strategic planning and execution Manage and support R&D management systems Drive prioritization and follow-up of strategic initiatives together with commercial stakeholders Utilize data and AI-related capabilities to support business performance and strategic development We are looking for someone who: Has extensive senior-level experience in Business Development, Strategy, or Financial Governance Has proven experience driving strategic business development and organizational transformation Has hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Has experience leading strategic finance initiatives Has experience working closely with R&D, Finance, and Business functions Has experience supporting executive decision-making and working with senior leadership stakeholders Has strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset Has data and AI-related skills that can be applied to business performance and strategic development Has experience driving prioritization and follow-up of strategic initiatives Has a proven ability to build and improve cross-functional collaboration Meritorious: Experience working within an R&D organization Experience supporting or working within a Strategy PMO Experience working with R&D management systems Experience collaborating with commercial stakeholders Experience from product development within industrial or engineering-driven organizations We Offer: At We.
