Job Title: Manager – QC/QA Department: Production Work Location: Hardware Park, Maheshwaram, Ravirala, Hyderabad, Telangana, India About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – QC/QA to lead our Quality Control team within the Production Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical/production engineering, with proven expertise in quality assurance, process control, and inspection practices within defense, aerospace, or related manufacturing industries.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Prepare and implement inspection and quality plans for production activities. Analyze rejections, identify root causes, and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Ensure timely execution of calibration schedules for inspection and measurement tools.
Coordinate with production teams to resolve dimensional, quality, or process-related issues. Monitor quality metrics and ensure adherence to customer specifications, regulatory standards, and QMS requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, problem-solving, and process audits.
Requirements
Education
& Qualifications Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Technology. Experience 8–12 years of relevant experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance. Experience in Defense & Aerospace manufacturing preferred; candidates from Semiconductor and Electronics Manufacturing industries will also be considered.
Key Skills Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone Diagram) and CAPA. Familiarity with PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA methodologies. Hands-on experience with inspection tools: Vernier callipers, micrometres, bore gauges, height gauges, slip gauges, dial test indicators, and CMM (optional but preferred).
Exposure to Quality Management System (QMS) activities, particularly ISO 9001. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and team leadership skills.S
