Director - Business Operations

Position Overview

This role will oversee operational teams across Southeast Asia ensuring alignment of business processes, operational controls, resource planning, procurement, logistics, financial operations support, and business operations. The position is aimed to boost operational execution while driving continuous improvement and organizational efficiency.

• Business Operations Management Ensure effective execution of order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and project operational workflows. Drive standardization of processes, policies, and controls across regions. Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies. Financial Operations & Commercial Support Partner with Finance, Sales, and Delivery teams Revenue forecasting and assurance and Revenue recognition tracking Billing governance and billing cycle management Cash flow planning and working capital optimization Cost control and profitability improvement
• Planning & Transformation Executing strategic initiatives and transformation programs. Lead operational improvement projects, automation initiatives, and digital transformation efforts. Drive process re-engineering and continuous improvement across all operational functions. Implement scalable operational frameworks to support company growth.
• People Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop regional operations managers and functional leads. Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence. Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success.

Qualifications

• Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Operations Management, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Experience 15+ years of progressive operations experience. Minimum 5 years in lead roles managing operations. Experience leading operations across multi-regional markets preferred. Strong understanding of supply chain, procurement, finance operations, and business operations. Experience within technology, AI infrastructure, datacenter, manufacturing, telecommunications, or hardware businesses preferred. Skills & Competencies
• Leadership Strategic thinker with Big Picture mindset and strong execution capability. Ability to lead geographically dispersed teams. Strong change management and organizational leadership skills.
• Business Acumen Strong Operational Process lifecycle understanding. Strong financial and commercial understanding. Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and operational performance.
• Operational Excellence Process optimization and Continuous improvement KPI development and performance management Risk management and governance ERP experience is a plus – Oracle / Net. Suite exposure is a plus.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management Executive-level communication skills. Strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities. Ability to influence and drive outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups. Strong Proficiency in English mandatory, Multi Linguistic – Hindi, Mandarin, Thai will be a plus.
