JOB SUMMARY
The Architectural Executive supports architectural design development and project delivery from feasibility through construction. The role is responsible for producing quality design and documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and supporting site implementation. With sufficient experience, the Architectural Executive may lead and manage junior architectural team members to deliver projects effectively.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conceptualise architectural concepts and develop schematic designs in response to project briefs.
- Carry out feasibility studies and prepare design proposals for client review and approval.
- Prepare tender documentation including drawings, schedules and material specifications.
- Liaise and discuss project-related issues with clients to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Coordinate and liaise with consultants and contractors throughout design and construction stages.
- Ensure design quality and compliance with authority requirements, codes and regulations.
- Oversee progress of on-site works and assist in resolving design and construction-related issues.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project status and report on progress and quality.
- Lead and manage architectural team members where adequate experience is demonstrated.
- Support BIM coordination, submission processes and documentation control in accordance with project and authority requirements. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification from a local or foreign university recognised by the Board of Architects (BOA), Singapore.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural working experience.
- Well-versed in Singapore BCA BIM e-submission processes, requirements and guidelines.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Building Design Suite, including Revit Architecture.
- Completion of BCA Academy’s BIM Modelling and BIM Management courses is an added advantage.
- Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
