Internship Opportunities Location : Markham, Ontario About the role: Our Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to combine valuable work experience with networking opportunities across different business areas including Transaction Banking, Financial Market, Commercial Banking, Personal Banking, Risk Management, Compliance, Retail Branches and other divisions.
As an Intern, you will gain exposure and learn about the different business areas. You will be involved in some projects and assist with the daily operations. You will be provided training that will enhance your skills during your Internship and beyond. The duration of the full time Internship Programme is about 3-6 months.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with business units to develop a working understanding of products, services, and operational processes Support reporting activities by gathering data, validating inputs, and preparing structured reports Assist in project execution through coordination of tasks, tracking action items, and maintaining accurate documentation Conduct research and synthesize findings to support business initiatives and decision-making Provide general administrative support, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations What You Will Bring to the Table: Currently in the third or fourth year of an undergraduate program, or enrolled in a graduate program Pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related discipline Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn Solid understanding of commercial and business environments Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting Mandarin speaking is an asset What We Offer: Exposure to the banking industry, with practical, hands-on experience Opportunities to learn from experienced professionals and develop core skills Structured career support and access to mentorship A collaborative and inclusive work environment that values diversity A formal certificate upon successful completion of the internship About Bank of China (Canada) Having a presence in the Canada for more than 30 years, Bank of China (Canada) has been providing an excellent financial service to the market and maintain its competitive edge as an international bank operated in the Canada.
