Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (BSA) -Temonos 100% Remote Experience Required: 5+ Years Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with deep expertise in Temenos T24 to operate at the intersection of financial product design, accounting, data analysis, and technology delivery within a regulated financial services environment.

This is a hands-on, delivery-oriented role requiring strong capability in translating complex banking requirements into well-designed and configurable Temenos T24 Arrangement Architecture (AA) solutions. The role involves working on core banking initiatives supporting everyday banking, deposits, and lending products. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is structured, pragmatic, and capable of managing accountability in a complex and fast-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Product & Core Banking Analysis

  • Lead analysis and design of financial products in Temenos T24, including: Everyday banking products (chequing and savings accounts) Term deposit products Lending products (loans, lines of credit, mortgages)
  • Translate business and product requirements into clear, testable functional and non-functional specifications aligned with T24 capabilities.
  • Design product features including: Interest calculation methods and accruals Charge plans and service fee structures Product lifecycle rules and behaviors
  • Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned with business, regulatory, and accounting standards. Temenos T24 & Arrangement Architecture (AA)
  • Configure and support Temenos T24 Arrangement Architecture (AA) products, including: Properties, conditions, and business rules Interest, fee, and accounting configurations
  • Design and configure: Demand account products for everyday banking Term deposit products including maturity, renewal, and rate structures Lending products including:
  • Payment rules and schedules
  • Delinquency handling
  • Arrears and collections logic
  • Good understanding of syndicated lending concepts (preferred). Accounting & Financial Controls
  • Apply strong knowledge of core banking accounting principles and practices.
  • Design, validate, and troubleshoot accounting entries generated by T24, including: Interest income Interest expense Accruals and reversals
  • Support reconciliation and balancing activities, including root cause analysis of breaks.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to resolve accounting and data discrepancies.
  • Ensure solutions support auditability, transparency, and regulatory compliance. Business & Technical Analysis
  • Lead end-to-end business requirements analysis from intake to delivery.
  • Assess technical impacts, dependencies, risks, and downstream system effects.
  • Document solutions using structured analysis techniques such as: Process flows Sequence diagrams Data models (UML where applicable)
  • Apply understanding of object-oriented concepts to interpret system behavior and validate technical solutions.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Data Analysis & Integration Awareness
  • Perform complex data analysis using SQL for: Requirements validation Issue investigation Posting and reconciliation validation
  • Understand system integrations and data flows between Temenos T24 and upstream/downstream systems.
  • Support integration and interface documentation activities. Backlog & Delivery Management
  • Create and maintain structured product backlogs in Azure DevOps, including: Epics Features User stories Acceptance criteria
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to refine, prioritize, and manage backlog items.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and release impacts effectively. Testing & Change Support
  • Define and support test strategies and detailed test plans.
  • Support SIT and UAT activities, including defect triage and resolution.
  • Participate in change management activities such as: Impact assessments Stakeholder communication Release readiness planning
  • Support incident analysis and issue resolution through to closure. Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Act as a key liaison between: Business stakeholders Finance and Operations teams Technology, Architecture, and Integration teams External vendors
  • Manage requirements and stakeholder expectations across initiatives.
  • Communicate complex business, accounting, and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and drive end-to-end resolution. Essential Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Technical Analyst in complex environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Temenos T24 and Arrangement Architecture (AA).
  • Experience designing and configuring: Demand banking products Term deposit products Lending products
  • Strong understanding of: Interest accruals Interest income and expense Accounting postings and reconciliations
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with data directly.
  • Technical understanding sufficient to interpret system behavior and constraints.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps. Professional Skills:
