Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in SQL, Python, Snowflake, and cloud-based data environments. The professional will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, Snowflake data structures, and supporting automation tools.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with data modeling, performance optimization, ELT/ETL pipelines, AWS data services, Linux environments, version control, and containerization technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration solutions. • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and reporting. • Perform SQL performance tuning, query optimization, and data model improvements. • Design, configure, and optimize Snowflake schemas, warehouses, databases, and related objects. • Apply Snowflake best practices related to performance, scalability, cost management, security, and governance. • Refactor and optimize Snowflake objects, pipelines, and workloads for large-scale data environments. • Build and maintain ELT/ETL pipelines using dbt, Apache Airflow, or similar technologies. • Develop Python scripts for data processing, pipeline automation, operational support, and tooling. • Integrate and support data workloads using AWS services, including RDS, S3, Aurora, backup, and restore mechanisms. • Work with Linux server environments, including file system navigation, shell scripting, service management, and operational troubleshooting. • Use Git and GitHub for source control, branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development. • Support containerized applications and workloads using Docker across cloud and local environments. • Collaborate with data, engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions. • Create and maintain technical documentation related to pipelines, data models, operational procedures, and deployment processes.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, Data Developer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role. • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, including complex queries, query optimization, performance tuning, and data modeling. • Strong practical experience with Snowflake, including schema design, warehouse management, optimization, and cost control. • Experience designing, building, and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines in enterprise data environments. • Experience with dbt, Apache Airflow, or similar data orchestration and transformation tools. • Working knowledge of Python for data engineering, automation, and scripting activities. • Experience with AWS data services, especially RDS, S3, Aurora, backup, and restore processes. • Experience working with Git and GitHub in collaborative software development environments. • Practical experience with Linux environments and shell scripting. • Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts. • Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with data governance, data quality, lineage, and metadata management. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering solutions. • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and cloud deployment practices. • Experience working in Agile and multidisciplinary teams.

Further information will be given along the technical interview.
