Job description
The Field Supervisor supports students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT)/Alternative Certification Program (ACP) at Lamar University by observing, coaching, and mentoring teacher candidates in their first year of teaching. The Supervisor ensures that each candidate is evaluated using the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) rubric and POP (pre-observation, observation, post-observation) cycle model and collaborates with mentor teachers and school administrators to support candidate development.
