BACKGROUND Keewaytinook Okimakanak Health provides Nursing Services in the First Nations communities of Deer Lake, Keewaywin, and North Spirit Lake. Primary health care in these isolated and remote communities is provided by a dedicated team of nurses and allied health professionals working in a community Nursing Station. The team based at the Nursing Station is supported by regular physician visits to communities and access to 24-hour physician support by phone. The nursing experience in remote and isolated communities is one of the most challenging and rewarding opportunities available to nurses in Canada. Full-time and Part -time available.
