Revenue Accountant

Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is looking for a “Revenue Accountant” based out of Milpitas, CA. Job Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of FT Conversion) Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick Leave, 401K Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to support revenue accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ASC 606, U.S. GAAP, and experience with ERP systems in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform month-end and quarter-end revenue close activities. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and revenue reports. Ensure compliance with ASC 606, U.S. GAAP, and SOX controls. Support ERP system enhancements, testing, and process improvements. Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. 1–3 years of accounting or public accounting experience. Knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles. Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred: Big 4 or public accounting experience is a plus.
