We are expanding and seeking a driven outreach professional to grow our referral network and elevate our community presence. It is 21 years old brand with 145+ locations nationwide.
Position Overview
The Physician Liaison & Outreach Specialist is a fully field-based role focused on building strong relationships with healthcare providers and developing partnerships with local businesses, wellness organizations, gyms, yoga studios, spas, and corporate groups. You will represent Medi‑Weightloss at community events, employer wellness programs, and collaborations with companies across Chandler and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Physician Outreach — Build and maintain relationships with Primary Care, OB-GYN, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Bariatrics, and other key specialties. Practice Engagement — Conduct in-person office visits, deliver brief educational presentations, and ensure practices have updated referral materials. Referral Growth — Support referring offices, share program updates, and re-engage declining practices.
Community, Corporate & Wellness Partnerships — Build partnerships with gyms, yoga studios, spas, wellness centers, corporate HR teams, and local companies. Represent the clinic at health fairs, employer wellness events, and community gatherings. Territory Management — Track outreach activity, referral patterns, and weekly performance metrics.
Success Metrics (3–6 Months) Manage 10–20 active partnerships Build 10 consistent referring providers Generate 20+ new patient referrals/month Establish predictable, stable referral patterns Required Qualifications Proven sales experience — healthcare sales, pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, or physician liaison roles 3+ years calling on physician practices or clinical specialties Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to discuss clinical concepts confidently Organized, self-directed, and comfortable with measurable goals Preferred Qualifications Existing provider or wellness-business relationships in Chandler / Gilbert / Tempe / Phoenix Experience in weight management, metabolic health, or wellness.
Schedule & Work Environment Part-time: approximately 20-25/ week with growth potential 100% field-based — office visits, wellness partnerships, community and corporate events Flexible daytime schedule Occasional early morning, evening, or community events as needed.
Compensation
Base rate of $18 to 22/hr base pay depending on experience Plus Commission / Performance Bonus. Performance-based bonuses tied to: Referral volume New referring providers Growth of corporate and wellness partnerships Overall expansion of the referral network Strong earning potential for high performers who excel in relationship-driven outreach.
