What's the job? The Senior Key Accounts Manager, Strategic Growth is responsible for creating strategic value and profitability in support of Certain. Teed enterprise business strategies. These activities operate across multiple product lines and growth initiatives with an entrepreneurial, customer-centric approach to national and enterprise-level strategic accounts throughout the United States. The role will be responsible for accounts for Exterior Product Sales as well as supporting other businesses in Certain. Teed such as Solar.-
- This role will focus on Key Account Management and New Business Development, as well as working with Senior Leadership to create, continually revise, and execute strategies for medium and long-term business growth. The right candidate must be highly customer focused and adept at negotiation, organizational navigation, working in a matrix organization, and problem solving. They will work with numerous internal and external stakeholders including customers, channel partners, line-of-business leadership, and senior sales and functional leaders to develop creative, out-of-the-box ways of addressing customer needs and locate untapped opportunities.
- Cultivate strong, effective, and collaborative working relationships with Key Account Customers' senior management to create direct lines of communication and influence decision making Work in conjunction with Certain. Teed leadership to establish strategies and tactics to profitably and sustainably grow our position within key growth segments while remaining cognizant of customer business objectives- Maintain competitive knowledge of market space to create and adjust sales strategies Guide development of Key Accounts strategy, annual plan, sales support programs and pull-through/demand generation activities to meet overall strategic objectives for market share, sales and profitability Manage corporate relationships with key accounts at multiple levels to secure new business and grow existing business Effectively promote existing offerings from a broad, existing product portfolio, while maintaining a critical eye toward increasing future differentiation and value-add. Develop a positive working relationship with Key Account functional area leaders Through strong relationships with key accounts and general market knowledge, propose and justify new products, services, and strategies that create differentiated customer value, business profit, and expanded market positioning. Be the point person for coordination of projects with Key Account Customers such as PIM, EDI, Marketing Campaigns, and Store Merchandising Analyze sales reports and market feedback from internal and external sources to identify key issues, trends, opportunities and market share growth/decline for use in marketing, promotions, product assorting and sales planning purposes Work with sales and enterprise leadership to analyze, develop, and execute long-term growth strategies for complex and emerging business segments, leveraging core strengths across the organization Develop company-wide expertise in go-to-market strategy, pricing architecture, and category expansion for complex and emerging growth initiatives Navigate and influence complex national and enterprise customer organizations to create substantial, scalable growth opportunities across multiple stakeholders, geographies, and decision levels - What do you bring? Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in business or technical field Required 10+ years Deep Building Industry knowledge and 10+ years professional experience in the industry. Required 10+ years Minimum 10 years' corporate account management experience as key contact, preferably in the building industry. Required
- Demonstrated success in new business development with National 1-Step distributors Required Proven ability to drive significant growth of new product categories Required Curiosity and capacity to ask questions to drive alternative outcomes. Required Ability to understand the unique operational models of B2B customers, and through this understanding be seen as a trusted advisor able to propose on-point solutions to the customers' expressed and not yet expressed pain points. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.--
- In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 17% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $155,600 to $249,200. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee. - Why work for us?
