Aurora Parts is seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Sourcing Engineer to serve as a key technical resource for the organization, and for the product team in particular. This person is a curious, collaborative partner with a growth mindset and the drive to move beyond the status quo. The Sourcing Engineer works directly with other draftsmen as a lead partner in new product development, primarily for Aurora's Pro-FIT line within the Structural Parts portfolio of commercial trailer products.
The role centers on drafting and design, a strong command of materials and manufacturing methods, and close collaboration with suppliers to source new products.
