Job Title: Branch Manager – Building Hardware Retail Location: Suva, Fiji Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities Manage overall branch operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning. Lead, supervise, and motivate branch staff to achieve sales and business targets. Oversee inventory, stock control, procurement, and warehouse coordination.
Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer issues effectively. Monitor sales performance, cash handling, financial reporting, and branch profitability. Prepare sales and operational reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related field. Experience Minimum 5 years of experience as a Branch Manager, Retail Manager, or Operations Manager. Experience in Building Hardware, Construction Materials, FMCG, or Retail Industry is highly preferred. Skills Required Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication in English. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/POS systems. Inventory and stock management knowledge. Financial reporting and budgeting skills. Customer relationship management. Ability to work under pressure and meet business targets. Valid driver's license preferred.
Police Clearance Certificate. Must pass a Drug Test. Non-smoker preferred. Preferred Candidate Experience managing a building materials or hardware retail outlet. Proven ability to achieve sales and profitability targets. Strong decision-making and organizational skills. Willing to relocate to Fiji.
