Job description
The Accountant I will support various projects teams by completing financial modeling that will support decision making. This position will assist in providing timely and accurate recording of transactions for a complete presentation in a monthly financial package, various reports and analysis as requested by management.
In addition, this individual is responsible for the protection of Val-Matic’s assets through proper recording of transactions, compliance with regulations and regulatory agencies, acting upon cost saving opportunities, and compliance with internal control procedures. Importantly, this individual will work with the Director of Finance to identify ways to improve the overall performance of the company.
