Job description
Classes are held at Children's Health Center - 1421 Premier Drive, Mankato. This position is casual, working 1-6 hours per pay period. OB classes are typically held Mondays between the hours of 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
The OB Educator is responsible for teaching Prepared Childbirth, Breastfeeding, and Newborn Care educational classes, as well as Car Seat Safety, if certified. This person will provide accurate and specific information on topics such as 4th trimester, labor & delivery, postpartum, newborn care, and breastfeeding. The OB Educator maintains a positive relationship with patients, family members, providers, and other employees.
