Project Manager | Civil Infrastructure (FIFO Queensland) The Opportunity Driven by sustained growth and a strong pipeline of upcoming works, a premier industry leader in civil construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager. This role will spearhead the end-to-end delivery of critical civil and concrete infrastructure projects across regional and remote Queensland.
This is a FIFO position offering flexible roster options (5:2 or 14:7), tailored to specific project requirements. What You’ll Do End-to-End Delivery: Lead and manage civil and concrete projects from inception through to successful completion. Commercial Management: Oversee program schedules, cost controls, and risk mitigation in strict alignment with contract requirements (AS2124 / AS4000).
Operations & Quality: Manage subcontractors, procurement strategies, and strict QA systems to ensure flawless project execution. Stakeholder Relations: Champion strong, collaborative relationships with clients, local authorities, and project teams. Team Leadership: Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and clear guidance to all onsite personnel.
What We’re Looking For Experience: 5+ years of proven success as a Project Manager within the civil construction sector. Project Expertise: A strong background in bridge construction and road infrastructure is essential. Track Record: Demonstrated experience delivering regional, local government, or major infrastructure projects.
Commercial Acumen: Robust contractual, financial, and project planning program skills. Communication: Elite leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management capabilities. Tech & Compliance: Proficient in MS Office Suite and Project Management software. Must hold a current Construction White Card and valid Driver’s Licence.
