Job description
This position is responsible for setup and operation of large CNC Bridge Mill(s) designed for machining industrial components and weldments. The machinist will assist the quality assurance departments with and first articles inspections. The machinist will monitor quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, and adjusting, to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Knowledgeable in commonly used practices and procedures within the CNC programmer/machinist profession. Working knowledge and understanding of the Okuma controls.
