Full-Time, Hourly $17 - $18*

GoodLife Innovations is seeking 1:1 Direct Support Professionals to teach daily living skills, provide care and companionship, and engage in functional activities with specific clients with behavioral needs.

As a 1:1 Direct Support Professional, you will work one-on-one with a client assisting with their specific behavioral needs. You will provide continuous and high-quality attention, interaction, and engagement in activities, as well as helping the client reduce challenging behaviors by teaching appropriate replacement behaviors.

Some Duties:

• Working one-on-one with a client assisting with their specific behavioral needs

• Providing continuous and high-quality attention, interaction, and engagement in activities

• Helping client reduce challenging behaviors (physical aggression) by teaching appropriate replacement behaviors

• Implementing behavioral procedures for preventing and responding to challenging behaviors

• Observing, documenting, and reporting data on daily activities

Entry-Level Qualifications:

• Must successfully pass criminal background check

• Must be able to remain calm in escalated situations

• Must have the physical strength necessary to assist this client during challenging behaviors

• Ability to safely and confidently intervene during challenging behaviors

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with clients with disruptive or aggressive behaviors

Schedules Available:

• 9:00am-3:00pm

• 9:30am-3:30pm
