Site Services Manager Simo. Tech is seeking an experienced Site Services Manager to lead and continuously improve the processes that support our Site Services business. In this role, you will drive service excellence, strengthen client relationships, and support sustainable business growth. The Site Services Manager will be responsible for operational governance, service quality, customer satisfaction, and commercial performance, acting as a key link between Simo.
Tech, on-site teams, and client leadership. This role reports to the Director of Site Services and forms part of the Simo. Tech management team. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute actively to the company’s operational leadership. In addition to leading Site Services operations, the successful candidate will also oversee at least one key client account.
Key Responsibilities
Understand client needs, challenges, and business objectives to offer tailored solutions. Collaborate with Business Development, Engineering and Managed Services Business Units to deliver solutions. Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing and new accounts. Manage Site Services pipeline and ensure accurate business forecasting.
Define, track, and report on key service metrics and performance indicators, using data analytics to identify trends, improve decision-making, and support client and business objectives. Drive efficient, standardised processes across Site Services operations, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance service delivery, scalability, and operational performance.
Ensure accurate records of client interactions and activity within the CRM system. Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to specify role requirements and to support with sourcing strategies. Conduct technical interviews to assess the skills and expertise of potential candidates Review proposals, negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and service agreements with clients.
Ensure up to date Purchase Orders are in place for all site based resources. Track account performance, revenue, and profitability. Partner with the HR team to maximise resource retention through employee engagement, performance management and career development. Conduct performance reviews and rate/salary reviews for Site Services personnel.
Represent Simo. Tech at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Represent Simo. Tech to the highest possible level at all times, adhering to our core principles of Trust, Excellence and Respect.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, and or a combination of experience. Minimum 10+ years in account management and / or experience in the life sciences sector, preferably in engineering or IT/OT services. Understanding of GMP, compliance, automation systems (DCS, SCADA, MES), IT infrastructure, system integration and digital transformation in regulated industries would be an advantage Strong ability to engage effectively with engineering, operations, and procurement teams in Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and leadership teams. Excellent communications skills, both written and spoken Strong attention to detail, with the ability to monitor and manage financial performance effectively. Willingness to travel within Ireland.
