Job description
Leading the end-to-end financial operations, tax structuring, and commercial governance for the talent management and brand partnership division, acting as the primary financial liaison for high-profile artists and stakeholders. Reviewing and optimizing legal agreements from a finance and taxation perspective; managing artist cash flows, quarterly projections, and monthly artist-wise P&L statements; governing weekly artist/vendor payment files and brand receivables; performing due diligence for artist sweat equity deals; and leading internal and statutory audit compliance for the division.
Requirements
6–10 years of verified, post-qualification experience managing accounting, corporate tax laws, and commercial practices, ideally within a major media house, celebrity management agency, or network entertainment ecosystem. Technical Foundations: Comprehensive mastery of entertainment industry tax structures (including withholding taxes, GST nuances, and stamp duty mechanics), commercial contract analysis, and matrixed audit synchronization.
