You will lead EHSQ across a major Danish environmental operation, with freedom to shape your own priorities, build your team, and drive genuine change. This is not a role where you maintain the status quo — you drive the agenda in close cooperation with Operations. What you will do
Leading a small team of EHSQ professionals, you will work across four areas: ● Safety leadership & culture — safety walks, root cause analysis, CEO/COO support, building awareness of the WHY behind every requirement. ● Communication & trust with Operations — one shared understanding of EHSQ, rules made understandable, dialogue not dictate.
● Legal compliance & regulatory affairs — read the law and its intent, maintain full regulatory overview, manage authority relationships constructively. ● Systems & continuous improvement — ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001, build procedures and structures fit for a growing organisation.
Who you are
● Master's degree in a technical field, 5 years of EHSQ experience in a production or process environment. ● A communicator who adapts from shop floor to boardroom — Danish and English. ● Earns trust through presence and follow-through, not authority. ● Self-driven, strong overview, does not need to be told what to do next.
● Makes rules understandable; pushes for change with persistence and a positive mindset.
