Solution IT Architect

Role description: Solution IT Architect (Systems Infrastructure) About the Role You will join the Solution Architecture team within the Service Center HIP (Hybrid Infrastructure Platforms), playing a key role in shaping and governing the enterprise. infrastructure landscape. The team is responsible for building and evolving infrastructure and application platforms that align with Enterprise Architecture standards and reference architectures.

As an IT Infrastructure Architect, you will design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions supporting business-critical applications across on-premise and hybrid cloud environments. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and enterprise architects to define future-state architectures and guide implementation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design infrastructure solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements while aligning with Enterprise IT Architecture and reference standards.
• Define and maintain infrastructure blueprints, standards, patterns, and reference architectures.
• Architect enterprise platforms across compute, storage, networking, security, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Evaluate technology options, identify risks, and provide recommendations to business and IT stakeholders.
• Support infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and technology lifecycle management initiatives.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure architecture compliance throughout project delivery.
• Document architecture decisions, technical standards, and solution designs. Participate in architecture governance boards, technology reviews, and strategic planning activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor for infrastructure strategy, resilience, security, scalability, and operational excellence.

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Operations.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Infrastructure Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture roles.
• Strong experience designing and governing large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and modeling languages such as Archi. Mate.
• Experience working within complex, multi-vendor, hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. Key Competencies
