Job description
The Tissue Recovery Technician I role is responsible for performing tissue recovery and leading a recovery team in recovery of post-mortem tissues as determined by the authorization, as well as, organizational and processor needs, to ensure safe human grafts for transplantation. Responsible for using aseptic technique to assist and/or to perform the recovery of post-mortem human tissue including bone, connective tissue, skin, heart for heart valves, and/or veins to ensure safe grafts for transplantation.
Tissue recovered may be for the purpose of transplant, research, and education.
