  • Patient Demographics: Adult & Pediatric Emergency Patients
  • Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 64 Patients Per Day (23,500 Annual Visits)
  • Admissions: Approximately 8.5%
  • Case Mix: Emergency Medicine FACILITY INFORMATION
  • No. of Beds in Department: 15 ED Beds + 2 Fast Track Beds
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Office Equipment Available: Standard ED Equipment
  • Specialty Backup Available: Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, Tele-Nephrology, Tele-Neurology, Tele-Psychiatry
  • Support Staff Available: APP Coverage Averaging 11.43 Hours Daily PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
  • Credentialing Timeline: 60–90 Days
  • On-Site Hospital Orientation Required COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • Patient Disposition and Transfers JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Texas Medical License
  • ABEM, AOBEM, or ABFM (ABFM requires 2+ years ED experience at 10,000+ annual volume facility)
  • Active DEA
  • BLS Required; ATLS & ACLS required for non-boarded EM/FM physicians
  • EM or FM Residency Trained
  • Other Qualifications:
  • Epic proficiency preferred
  • Must be willing to work at both Marshall and Kilgore locations
  • Completion of facility onboarding requirements and immunizations DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Independently evaluate and treat emergency department patients
  • Perform emergency procedures and stabilization
  • Coordinate transfers and specialty consultations
  • Document patient encounters in Epic
  • Collaborate with APPs and consulting specialists
