Tech PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required General Surgery (Adult) Laparoscopic Surgery (Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty) Breast surgery GI endoscopy (Upper, Lower, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy) Minor Orthopedics Chest tube insertion Vascular Surgery (Vascular access devices) JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified required Licenses: Licensed in NC Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, ABLS Duties & Responsibilities Provide on-call coverage for general surgery emergencies and consults Perform general surgical procedures including laparoscopic, GI endoscopy, and other required skills Manage inpatient surgical patients, including rounding and admissions Participate in emergency surgery call, responding within required timeframes Document overtime and callback with notes as preferred
