Job description
The Senior Software Engineer, Backend & Cloud Services provides hands-on technical leadership for the backend systems that support Hunter’s AWS-based IoT consumer application. This role owns cloud architecture, leads the design, development, and implementation of AWS Lambda microservices, infrastructure as code, REST APIs consumed by mobile and web applications, event-driven services, database models, telemetry pipelines, and AWS IoT Core device communication.
The position acts as a player-coach by contributing directly to production code while mentoring engineers, reviewing designs, guiding consultants, and helping establish scalable backend engineering practices.
