People Partners at GYG are trusted advisors and strategic operators. You'll partner closely with leaders across Hola Central to bring people strategy to life, covering everything from culture and engagement to employee relations, performance, and talent development. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

What You’ll Do Strategy & Analysis Contribute to people strategy for Head Office teams across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Review and interpret people data to execute strategy that improves results and team experience. Contribute to selected projects each quarter. Culture & Engagement Drive an engaged culture in partnership with managers and stakeholders.

Lead engagement surveys and support action plan development. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the team experience and provide coaching on HR best practices aligned to GYG culture. Performance Ensure leaders understand the performance management lifecycle and disciplinary processes. Provide 1:1 coaching, authorise formal disciplinary outcomes in collaboration with the Head of People Partnering, and support annual pay and bonus reviews Retention & Succession Manage succession planning frameworks backed by individual development plans.

Champion career development for high-potential team members, review recruitment needs, and ensure a consistent, high-quality onboarding experience. Employee Relations Oversee end-to-end case management — from general misconduct to serious matters. Maintain accurate records, identify trends, and proactively educate managers on employment legislation, award compliance, and GYG policies.

Workers Compensation Support the National WHS Manager with employee compensation claims, with a focus on understanding and complying with return-to-work plans. Project Management Lead and coordinate cross-functional People initiatives across the employee lifecycle — including D&I programs, engagement surveys, and recognition.

What You Bring Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree or above in HR, Psychology or a related field Minimum 6 years' experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager role within a fast-paced environment Advanced understanding of Australian employment law, award interpretation and disciplinary management Proven track record managing end-to-end people projects across the employee lifecycle Communication & Interpersonal Skills Excellent command of spoken and written English High-level people management and conflict resolution capability Personable, approachable, and able to build trust at all levels of the organisation Analytics & Reporting Ability to understand, interpret, and present people data clearly Strong Excel skills and comfort working with reporting tools Coaching & Development Advanced coaching skills with the ability to give feedback across all levels, backgrounds and experience types Experience developing and delivering People & Culture training to operational managers Benefits We’re incredibly proud of our amazing people and always have each other’s backs.
