Job description

Role Objective: To drive sales and business development of Display & IoT solutions (such as Smart Dashboards, Instrument Clusters, Telematics Units, GPS Trackers, and Connected Vehicle Modules) for the 2W Electric Vehicle segment by engaging with OEMs, system integrators, and EV startups. The role focuses on techno-commercial selling, OEM account management, and building long-term partnerships to enhance vehicle connectivity and digital intelligence in the EV ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Development & Sales Identify and onboard new OEM customers in the 2W EV segment for display and IoT component integration. Promote products such as: Display Systems: TFT/LCD dashboards, digital instrument clusters, touch screens, and HUDs. IoT / Connected Modules: Smart telematics, GPS trackers, BLE-based connectivity, SIM-enabled communication units, cloud data loggers. Smart Components: CAN-enabled devices, vehicle controllers, communication gateways, and ECU interfaces. Develop and manage sales pipelines for existing and potential OEM customers. Present techno-commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements and homologation needs.
  2. Key Account & Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact for OEM customers (R&D, Sourcing, and Engineering teams). Manage complete project lifecycle — from product design-in to SOP. Ensure timely RFQ submission, price negotiation, and order finalization. Coordinate with technical, quality, and production teams for customer support and prototype approvals. Maintain long-term relationships with OEM decision-makers and promote new product introductions.
  3. Technical & Product Expertise Understand vehicle electronics architecture (CAN/LIN communication, telematics integration). Map customer requirements with product capabilities and recommend suitable configurations. Collaborate with R&D teams for custom display layouts, connectivity protocols, or UI/UX enhancements. Stay updated on IoT protocols (4G/5G, BLE, NB-IoT, MQTT) and connected vehicle ecosystems. Understand AIS standards related to IoT & electronics (AIS-140, AIS-004, AIS-038, etc.).
  4. Market Intelligence & Strategy Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging display/IoT technologies in the 2W EV space. Identify new business opportunities in connected vehicle platforms, fleet telematics, and aftermarket IoT applications. Provide feedback to management for product roadmap alignment with market needs. Support marketing initiatives such as exhibitions, demo vehicles, and digital campaigns.
  5. Commercial & Operational Responsibilities Handle pricing strategy, costing analysis, and margin optimization for component sales. Coordinate with logistics and SCM for delivery schedules and payment follow-ups. Maintain and update CRM data for leads, opportunities, and forecast planning.
