Job Description – IBDP Physics Faculty (with MYP Maths) Position: IBDP Physics Faculty Location: Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo Experience Required: 3–5 Years Curriculum: IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) Additional Responsibility: Ability to teach MYP Mathematics preferred Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and passionate IBDP Physics Faculty member to join a reputed international school in Lubumbashi.

The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise in Physics under the IB Diploma Programme and should also be capable of handling MYP Mathematics classes when required. The candidate must demonstrate excellent classroom management skills, inquiry-based teaching practices, and a commitment to student-centered learning.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Physics for the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-driven lessons aligned with IB standards Prepare students for internal assessments and board examinations Design assessments, assignments, and lab activities Maintain accurate academic records and student progress reports Support students academically and mentor them when required Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in school activities Teach MYP Mathematics classes if assigned Participate in parent-teacher meetings, training sessions, and school events Eligibility Criteria Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physics or relevant subject IB teaching experience preferred Minimum 3–5 years of relevant teaching experience Strong communication and classroom management skills Ability to teach MYP Maths will be an added advantage International school experience preferred Compensation & Benefits Monthly Salary: USD 2000 – 2500 Salary paid for 10.
