This role ensures optimal machine performance, product quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Job Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on ends conversion presses, including mechanical adjustments, lubrication, and component replacement. * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production machinery to minimize downtime. * Set up, adjust, and operate press machinery according to production specifications and quality standards.

Monitor press performance, product quality, and scrap rates, making necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality. * Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify potential problems and implement proactive solutions. * Collaborate with production operators and other maintenance personnel to ensure smooth and continuous operation.

Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including * Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used accurately. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and operational efficiency. * Train and mentor junior mechanics or operators on machine operation and basic maintenance tasks as required.
Job Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Press Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role, preferably within a high-volume manufacturing environment. * Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision machinery. * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment. * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
