Job Description Job Description •Support kindergarten students during academic and social activities, including lunch and recess supervision •Have the ability to build positive relationships with students •Partner with classroom teachers and Elementary Literacy Specialist to deliver literacy interventions to identified students •Progress monitor and make instructional adjustments based on the student data •Strong candidates should have the ability to be flexible, work as part of a team, and exhibit strong communication skills.

Qualifications

•Bachelor’s Degree required •Interest in working with students in need of support •Background in early literacy/SOR preferred

Welcome to Winthrop Elementary School The Winthrop School has an enrollment of approximately 370 pupils in preschool through fifth grade. The school contains 17 classrooms, a cafeteria/auditorium, a gym, learning center, music room, art room, language arts center, technology center, principal's and secretary's office, a health office, and a library. The field behind the school provides ample space for childrens' play as well as playground equipment.
