In order to execute on their growth strategy, they are seeking a driven Sales Representative or BDM with experience selling in a business to business environment in areas such as consumables, gas, forklift, transport/logistics etc.
Full product will be training provided. The Position… This newly created role is focussed on driving continued growth and expansion into the VIC market. Whilst your focus will be on the core industrial timber packaging offerings, the company is in a unique position to offer additional products such as packaging consumables and cardboard products through their other Melbourne based facilities, providing a great opportunity to cross-sell and expand.
You will be responsible for maintaining some existing key accounts but there will be a strong focus on new business and growing your customer base. The territory will cover all of the Melbourne metropolitan area. The Ideal Candidate… To be considered for this role, you will possess the following: You must have a minimum of 2+ years prior experience in Business to Business sales.
Full product training will be provided. You can leverage off your past and newly acquired customer base and developing new business leads (desirable) You must be able to hunt for new business and account manage as you secure new business You’ll be hungry and competitive whilst maintaining your professionalism. You possess a self-starter attitude with a solid work ethic Exposure to quoting and tendering would be advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills An average knowledge of computing (Outlook, Excel, Word) Competent with measuring and offering solutions to customers A able to work independently post the initial induction period SALARY EXPECTATIONS & BENEFITS Attractive base salary, plus car allowance, plus commission structure.
