Job description
Student Welfare & Support Oversee student support services including counseling, health, accommodation, and disability services. Address student concerns, grievances, and welfare issues in a fair and confidential manner. Promote mental health, well-being, and student safety initiatives. Discipline & Conduct Enforce college rules, regulations, and codes of conduct.
Handle student disciplinary cases, investigations, and hearings. Recommend disciplinary actions in line with institutional policies. Student Engagement & Leadership Support and guide student leadership bodies, clubs, and societies. Promote student participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Organize student orientation, leadership programs, and civic engagement activities.
Policy & Administration Develop, review, and implement student affairs policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records related to student conduct and welfare. Prepare reports on student affairs for senior management. Collaboration & Representation Act as a link between students, faculty, administration, and parents/guardians when necessary.
Collaborate with academic departments to support student retention and success. Represent the institution in student-related external forums when required. Crisis & Risk Management Manage student-related emergencies and crisis situations. Coordinate with security, health providers, and external agencies when necessary.
Requirements
Degree in Education. Pedagogy is an added advantage. High integrity and professional discipline. Excellent communication skills. 3 years experience in a similar role.
