Specialist Software Engineer – Cloud (Go)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer – Cloud with strong expertise in Go (Golang), Cloud Infrastructure, and Distributed Systems. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and enhance cloud-native backend services for a scalable SaaS platform. You will work on microservices, cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and multi-cloud deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance cloud-native backend services using Go. Analyze product requirements and collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering Leads. Build scalable microservices and cloud platform components. Design and implement distributed, highly available cloud services. Develop and maintain cloud-native database infrastructure.

Debug complex issues across cloud infrastructure, networking, virtualization, and security. Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability. Build automation scripts for deployment, image management, and cloud operations. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless cloud deployments. Continuously improve scalability, performance, and availability of cloud services.

Requirements

Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of backend software development experience. Strong programming experience in Go (Golang). Experience building Microservices Architecture. Strong knowledge of Distributed Systems and High Availability (HA). Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Strong Linux/Unix administration knowledge. Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience working with AWS, Azure, and GCP. Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms. Experience supporting cloud operations and troubleshooting production environments.
