Job description
We are seeking an experienced Chargehand – Painting to supervise and coordinate painting and blasting activities at site for Oil & Gas projects. The candidate will assist the Site Superintendent in managing manpower, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily painting and surface preparation activities Guide painters and blasting crew at site Ensure work execution as per project specifications Allocate manpower and monitor productivity Ensure proper mixing and application of coating materials Maintain discipline and safety compliance among workers Coordinate with QC inspectors for inspections Report daily progress to Site Superintendent Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained Qualification: Any Experience: 15–20 years in Painting (Oil & Gas sector preferred) Strong knowledge of surface preparation and coating systems Experience supervising painting crews Familiar with industrial painting standards and safety procedures Ability to read basic drawings and specifications Strong leadership and communication skills Salary & Benefits Salary: QAR 1,600 – 1,700 + 300 Benefits: Accommodation & Transportation provided by Company
