Overview

We’re currently seeking a full-time Social Worker to provide services to in our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry department.

Responsibilities

Perform intake assessments for patients new to the clinic. Provide direct treatment services to patients within the clinic utilizing appropriate modalities including individual therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention. Provide presentations on pertinent clinical topics to trainees and fellow clinicians. Participate in interdisciplinary diagnostic and treatment planning conferences, including case presentations, and make recommendations regarding the needs of the patient from a social work perspective.

Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Qualifications

Masters in Social Work from an accredited school of social work. Current NYS licensure as a LMSW/LCSW. Minimum 1 year of experience working with children/adolescents in an outpatient psychiatric setting. Good interpersonal verbal/written communication skills. Bilingual: English and Spanish or Chinese is a required.

Pay Range

USD $43.61
