Automation QA Engineer – TestComplete & API Testing Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days at client office Experience Required: 6–8 years Skills Automated QA – TestComplete Role Description Validate RESTful and event-driven APIs to ensure functional accuracy, performance, and reliability. Design and execute API test cases covering positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.

Perform automated API testing using tools and frameworks such as Postman, Karate, and REST Assured. Validate API security, authentication, and authorization using OAuth2 and JWT. Collaborate with API Developers, Solution Architects, and DevOps teams across delivery pods. Support CI/CD integrated testing, defect triage, and release sign-off.

Ensure compliance with enterprise quality, security, and regulatory standards. Essential Skills 4–7 years of experience in API or integration testing within BFSI or regulated environments. Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols, and integration patterns. Experience with API test automation and defect management tools.

Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
