As an Electrical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of electrical systems across industrial, commercial, and facility-based environments.

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on electrical systems, motors, control panels, switch gear, and distribution networks.
• Diagnose electrical faults using multi meters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools; identify causes and implement effective solutions.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and install electrical components.
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, conduits, outlets, circuit breakers, and grounding systems in compliance with national and local electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance supervisors to plan and execute system upgrades, retrofits, and modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment performance in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols, including lockout/tag out (LOTO) procedures and PPE usage.
• Assist in the commissioning and testing of new electrical installations and equipment.

Requirements

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred. - 1–3 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, industrial electrical systems, or related repair services.
• Valid and active electrical license or certification (e.g., Journeyman Electrician, NECA, or equivalent) required; state-specific licensing may apply.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, including NFPA 70E, OSHA regulations, and lockout/tag out (LOTO) procedures.
• Hands-on experience with motor control circuits, PLCs, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial control panels.
• Competent in using hand and power tools, multi meters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environments.
• Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
