The Opportunity Account Manager | South Sydney to Canberra Territory We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our ANZ Sales team, supporting customers across South Sydney, Southern NSW, and the ACT, including Canberra. This is an exciting opportunity for either: Qualified Audiologists looking to leverage their clinical expertise in a commercial environment, or Experienced Medical Device (Med.

Tech) Sales Professionals , particularly those who have partnered directly with surgeons and specialist clinicians within hospital accounts, operating theatres, or private practice settings. In this role, you will combine your clinical understanding, customer focus, and commercial acumen to drive business growth and deliver exceptional outcomes for customers and patients.

You will play a critical role in supporting ENT surgeons, audiologists, and healthcare professionals by providing surgical support, delivering education and training programs, and driving adoption of Cochlear's implantable hearing solutions. Territory: South Sydney through to Canberra and surrounding regions. Regular travel across the territory is required.

About You

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a commercially minded professional who thrives in clinical and customer-facing environments and enjoys building trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals. You may come from an Audiology background or from a Med. Tech sales environment, particularly if you have experience working closely with surgeons, specialist physicians, hospital stakeholders, or private practice accounts.

Required Experience & Skills Bachelor's degree in Audiology, Healthcare, Nursing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline 3+ years' experience in healthcare, medical device, audiology, clinical support, or sales environments Demonstrated success building relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and territory management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a broader ANZ team A passion for improving patient outcomes through innovative healthcare solutions Ideal Experience We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds, including: Audiology, hearing aid sales, cochlear implants, bone conduction technologies, or hearing healthcare Medical device and surgical sales ENT, neuroscience, implantable devices, or other specialist healthcare markets Hospital account management Supporting surgeons and clinical teams in operating theatres or procedural environments Managing relationships across both public and private healthcare systems Working directly with specialist clinicians and private practice accounts to drive adoption and utilisation of innovative healthcare technologies If you feel that you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role and take on new challenges to build your career with Cochlear, please start your application by clicking the apply button below.
