Recreation Therapist – WCMC Inpatient Occupational Therapy – Part Time – 8 Hours – Days – Temporary (Not To Exceed 2 Years)

Job Description: Recreational therapists, under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, are assigned to evaluate and treat patients to achieve maximum level of leisure independence. Patients seen have a variety of limitations and the therapists use their skills to assist patients to their full rehabilitation potential.

Education

Bachelor of Arts Recreational Therapy And/Or Certifications/Licensures: NCTRC

• National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification or CBRPC
• California Board of Recreation and Park Required BLS
• Basic Life Support
• Certification Required This position is funded for a period of up to two years from the incumbent’s date of hire and is eligible for benefits. Work shift: 8:00 - 4:30pm Days worked per week: Sunday/Monday/Wednesday/Thursday Hours worked per day: 8 Work Shift: 08.0 - 08:00 - 16:30 No Waive (United States of America) Pay Range: $36.23 - $48.90 Hourly Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area . Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
