Job description
Preventive maintenance: Carry out routine inspections and scheduled servicing of electrical panels, motors, pumps, and control systems. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits, PLCs, and instrumentation systems. Installation: Assist in installing new electrical equipment, wiring, and control systems.
Safety compliance: Ensure all work adheres to electrical safety codes, plant safety procedures, and environmental regulations. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage. Coordination: Work closely with mechanical and operations teams to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.
Emergency response: Provide immediate support during electrical breakdowns or power failures.
Requirements
Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in STP or industrial plant operations. Strong knowledge of motors, pumps, MCC panels, VFDs, and PLC systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals. Familiarity with safety standards (NEC, IEC) and lockout/tagout procedures.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
