Lead Technical Instructor

The Lead Instructor plays a critical role in delivering high-quality technical training, ensuring that participants gain the necessary skills and certifications to successfully transition into employment. This position is responsible for curriculum design, instruction, mentorship of technical instructors, and alignment of training with industry standards and employer expectations.

The Lead Instructor will directly oversee Technical Instructors in YMCA Trades Technical Training Programs to ensure consistency and quality across all training areas. Additionally, the Lead Instructor will support efforts to engage employers, advisory committees, and community partners to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability.
