Data Analyst & Perfect Store

Job Description: Context & Scope: The Category Analyst operates as a central link between data, strategy, and execution across the SE Cluster (Italy & Greece), working closely with the regional CMI Lead, Category Managers, and local teams. The role focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality reporting and actionable insights, while continuously improving and standardizing tools and processes across markets.

It combines cross-market coordination with strong stakeholder collaboration to ensure alignment and relevance of outputs, and translates analysis into clear recommendations that support decision-making and in-store execution through Perfect Store and planogram initiatives. Success in the role requires balancing recurring reporting with ad hoc analysis, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining a strong focus on business impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Provide analytical support to the Category team by delivering actionable, data-driven insights.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve reporting and analysis for the Petcare category, in close collaboration with the regional CMI Lead.
• Deliver regular performance tracking reports to S&OP+, including category performance and category leadership metrics.
• Act as the main point of contact for consolidating and translating local market inputs into clear requests for the Nielsen team, ensuring strong data quality and relevance.
• Ensure reporting consistency across all cluster markets by identifying opportunities to standardize, simplify, improve, and automate reports and tools.
• Support the business in monitoring category, channel, and competitor performance to identify risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.

1. Perfect Store & Planogram Management

• Partner with Category Managers to develop and maintain Picture of Success tools (e.g., Spaceman) and provide central planograms.
• Design and adapt Pictures of Success by store type and by market, in collaboration with Category Managers, taking ownership of planogram creation and localization.
• Lead the annual update of the Perfect Store booklet and support its deployment to the sales organization, including the creation of the required tools, materials, and training support.
• Ensure planogram and Perfect Store recommendations are aligned with category strategy and market realities to maximize in-store execution excellence. The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be within the range set out below for a full-time position. Within this range, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
