Job description
The API Developer will support a full product ecosystem utilizing scripting skillsets, SOA & cloud knowledge, configuration abilities, and other skillsets to enhance software reliability, security, and other areas as projects dictate. This position sits onsite in Chicago working on a team supporting enterprise products.
Salary is dependent upon experience and abilities and will be discussed individually. This is a permanent position; we are unable to work with 3rd parties.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or 10 years of software development experience & certification) With a Bachelor's degree, only 5 years of total software dev. experience is required Scripting languages
- Python preferred and/or Bash plus others Some job focus in APIs or hybrid EDI/API environment SOA experience Experience with a structured SDLC environment and ability to engage in rapid prototyping Creative thinking ability Ability to multitask and be organized Effective verbal and written communication skills Must be able work in USA w/out any form of work authorization requirement now or in the future Benefits Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, and other incentives
