Job Summary:

Frazier & Deeter is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as a strategic partner between our Tax professionals and Technology Enablement team. In this role, you will help transform business needs into technology-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, improve the user experience, and support the continued evolution of our tax services. Working alongside practice leaders, stakeholders, and technology teams, you will play a key role in driving innovation, process improvement, and adoption of emerging technologies across the Tax practice.

** Duties & Responsibilities: **

  • Engage with tax professionals to identify workflow pain points across corporate tax, individual tax, estate planning, and related tax service areas.
  • Assess tax tools, workflows, licenses, and data sources for acquired firms and help define the migration roadmap into F&D platforms.
  • Document detailed business requirements for technology solutions, automations, integrations, and AI-enabled capabilities that support the tax practice.
  • Collaborate with development, data, AI enablement, support, and security teams to ensure solutions meet tax department needs and client-data requirements.
  • Lead user acceptance testing, feedback cycles, and solution validation before rollout to tax teams.
  • Coordinate training and adoption support for tax professionals, including newly acquired teams transitioning to F&D systems.
  • Act as the liaison between the tax practice and technology teams across both innovation projects and post-acquisition integration.

** Education & Experience: **

  • 4+ years of experience in a tax department, ideally at the senior or manager level.
  • Strong understanding of tax workflows, tax data, production deadlines, and practice-management needs.
  • Familiarity with tax platforms such as CCH or similar tools.
  • Ability to translate practice needs into structured requirements, test plans, and user stories for technical teams.
  • Strong communication, documentation, facilitation, and training skills.
  • Interest in moving into a technology-enabled business analysis role focused on innovation, automation, and integration.
