Every day, you will push the boundaries of creative design. In this role, you will collaborate with other professionals to determine both functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications. Using tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and the user interface of the desired product, developing high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
What You Will Do
Develop/Contribute in defining software design strategy for the area of responsibility (e.g. Project, Domain, BU ENG, Application) Identify architectural constraints for the architectural level (project, domain, application) based on technical and organisational requirements and decompose them to architectural levels below Develop software architecture for the assigned architectural level, fulfilling the architectural requirements Define, develop and verify that all interfaces to related SW architectural elements are complete Describe, evaluate and verify dynamic behaviour and interaction between the related SW architectural elements Analyse customer requirements and map them to existing architecture or extend the architecture, starting fromthe RFQ/RFI phase Analyse and address architecturally relevant non-functional requirements Ensure traceability and consistency with the system architecture and the software requirements Recommend implementation standards and design patterns that support information security and regulatory compliance objectives Document key technical requirements for our Telematic Software Customer contact for identifying and understanding architectural requirements Make risk treatment decisions What You Need: Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer engineering or a similar discipline Knowledge of embedded software, systems, and beyond.
Proven technical leadership Ability to clearly communicate in English, both verbally and in writing Expert knowledge and experience in Software Architecture. Experience with design methods (e.g. UML or SysML) Modelling tools and languages Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®, especially SWE.2) Analysis of requirements Ability to document comprehensively and concisely Decision-making and problem-solving ability Many years of experience in product development, embedded software and connectivity technologies Hands-on in C++ and is willing to get their hands dirty Good understanding of Linux OS kernel and user space.
Experience in (embedded) Linux The high-level grasp of the technology and ability to understand customer wishes, make decisions, communicate these decisions, and control the technical direction of the project What is Nice to Have Experience with infotainment systems Knowledge of Automotive Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
Competent in Automotive Cybersecurity Engineering (ISO 21434) Competent in TARA methodologies Knowledge of cryptography applications in the automotive ecosystem Knowledge of secure coding standards. Experience in AUTOSAR, especially with AP, is a plus Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE®, especially SWE.
