Job description
The Calibration Engineer independently maintains, tests, troubleshoots, calibrates, and repairs a variety of analytical, measurement, and instrumentation equipment used in laboratory and manufacturing environments. This role ensures the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of equipment through proper calibration practices, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
The Calibration Engineer analyzes results, supports the development of test specifications and procedures, maintains calibration records and spare parts inventory, and provides technical recommendations to resolve equipment-related issues. The role works independently with flexibility over daily priorities and may provide work direction or technical guidance to others without formal supervisory authority.
