Inspect welds, pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, structures. Equipment setup & calibration. 1500–1600 SAR Basic + FAT — 4 PAUT Technician 16 Diploma Mechanical / Bachelor’s + ASNT Level II Perform Phased Array UT on welds, pipes, pressure vessels, structural components. Setup PAUT equipment, probes, wedges, scanners.
Conduct calibration using IIW/V1/V2 or project blocks. 4000–4500 SAR Basic + FAT Aramco Approved 5 PMI Technician 4 Diploma Mechanical / Bachelor’s + ASNT Level II Perform Positive Material Identification using XRF/OES on pipes, fittings, valves, plates, and welds. 1500–1600 SAR Basic + FAT — 6 UTSW Technician 4 Diploma Mechanical / Bachelor’s + ASNT Level II Perform Shear Wave UT on welds, pipelines, pressure vessels, structural steel.
Detect/sizing defects: cracks, LOF, LOP, slag. 3000–3500 SAR Basic + FAT Aramco Approved 7 Safe Rad Technician 4 Diploma Mechanical / Bachelor’s + ASNT Level II Radiation safety control during radiography. Establish controlled areas, barricades, warning signs. Monitor radiation levels using survey meters as per KSA/Aramco/SASO/KACST standards.
